New Albany-based Janova Receives Tax Credits to Bring New Jobs to Central Ohio As It Continues to Grow
NEW ALBANY, Ohio, June 24, 2011 – Janova, a provider of web-based, automated software testing solutions leveraging the power of the cloud, today announced it has accepted tax incentives awarded by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority and the Village of New Albany. The growing company based in New Albany is expanding its operations, due in part to a 60 percent tax credit from the Ohio Tax Credit Authority and a 15 percent tax credit from New Albany. As a result, Janova may add more than 100 new jobs over the next five years.
The Ohio tax incentive, worth up to $1.3 million, would allow Janova to add up to 116 workers with an annual payroll of $10.4 million to its existing staff. The New Albany tax incentive is a 15 percent, five-year income tax incentive valued at more than $100,000.
